The 'Thank God for Honey' plate is an artwork hand-painted with care by Sasha. Inspired by Grayson Perry'se use of scrawling words, this decorative plate voices Sasha's Monday morning thoughts expressively. This playful and honest artwork aims to provide a personal insight to the viewer. Sasha's thoughts spiraling around the edge of the plate act as a reminder to embrace individuality and qurkiness in every form, no one is perfect and that's the joy in life.
Text reads: It’s Monday morning and I haven’t eaten. Things seem harder when I haven’t eaten. Sounds are noisier and people are annoying. So I must remember to make some time, for a cup of tea and a slice of toast. If I add some butter things are more pleasant, even better if there’s honey spread on top. The world suddenly seems a sweeter place. Monday isn’t so bad now. Actually, Monday is pretty great. Really, everyday is pretty great. How lucky I feel to be part of this world. And thank god for honey..
This plate is unique and one of a kind, there no more variations.
